Modular Systems

Tecnovision has developed a unique technique through which manufactures its led displays, called Modular System. Every panel assembled in Tecnovision's facilities is composed by basic units (modules) that are fully independent, provided with their own electric and electronic devices and totally interchangeable. The Modular System allows to customise shapes and sizes of our displays (a screen can be built using any multiple of modules, horizontally and vertically), to enhance and simplify mounting and dismantling and, finally, to make transport easier (this is especially important in service business).

This picture shows the basic unit of a screen. The technological innovation has made it possible to gather in a unique functional unit several components.

LED boards are harboured between two plastic layers; the front part is equipped with a louvre #03 and holes, where LEDs are dipped in a silicone compound that makes them fully weatherproof and, at the same time, keeps the board a monolith. In the back part, connectors for data and power supply are placed to drive the board #02. A gasket prevents possible infiltrations #01.

LED boards of SP (Square Pixel) type are characterised by a particular positioning of LEDs, that are like a carpet and so pixels are not apparently separated any longer. Thanks to a new scanning system, the Square Pixel Electronic Control can multiply by four the number of visible pixels. Each board has a resolution of 16 x 16 pixels, i.e. 256 visible pixels.

The mounting of module frames is carried out by using just a few perimetral screws, that make mounting and service operations very comfortable.

In the back part of each single module connectors for power supply, cooling fans and video signals coming from the distributor are present.

The screen, final result of modules mounting, does not need any external supporting structures, being self-supporting #04. So it is now possible to create big screens, of any size and definition, in a quick and easy way.
